Update (Same Day)

Howdy Freelancers! I just wanted to include a video I produced covering this same matter for my Youtube channel. It would mean a lot if you went over there and subscribed so I can get a good idea of how many of you there are.

Howdy Freelancers! In a recent Tweet Michael Gamble has shared the first real news about Anthem’s current state in almost a month! While the details within the Tweet are still incredibly vague, they do at least show that Bioware is allowed to share the fact that they are still working on anthem with fans.

What can we take from this Tweet exactly? Well there are two very important takeaways that I think we should all be clear on. First, Bioware is definitely working on Anthem, and here is the indisputable evidence of that. Everyone who says that work on the game is done and EA have dropped it can now shut up, because here’s a big old neon sign that proves you wrong.

Second, all of this work is probably geared towards a reveal at E3 2019. With the event starting up this weekend it would be insane for EA to miss the opportunity to show off some brand new content for Anthem, which is probably why nothing has been shown during May.

If you’ve spent any time looking at the Anthem Subreddit recently then you’ll know that it’s a real hot mess of people kicking off each and every day. Honestly it’s quite exhausting, and I think everyone else who actually plays the game is in the boat with me on this, because none of them bother posting or commenting there anymore. It’s a real shame because so many other Subreddits are at least slightly more positive than this.

Many press outlets love to bash Anthem in their articles. I think the most recent one I saw was this gem from Forbes, which spends about 80 percent of the time talking about how it’s atrocious that no news about the May Cataclysm has been released, and the final 20 percent saying that in reality it’ll probably be discussed at E3. I just can’t fathom why people bother reading articles that are so clearly geared towards stirring the already hate-filled pot, but I guess it’s easy clicks and that’s what pays the bills these days.

I really can’t wait for all of these sites to do a 180 and start posting about how good all of the new content for Anthem is going to be. I bet there are in-depth analyses, influencers spotlighting certain content, and a whole host of other stuff that makes the last couple of months look like the dark ages.

Let me know what you think in the comments.
