Howdy Freelancers! I know that its a day late, but I’ve been away and haven’t had a chance to do this until now. So without further delay, I present the Anthem Features Store Reset article series, in which I’ll be covering every store reset from now on.

Check out the Anthem Featured Store reset for the 23rd of August 2019 below and read on for further details.

Armour Packs

Full-Bore: 61,000 Coin or 850 Shards – This Armour Pack looks badass, not that all Colossus builds don’t. But this one looks like you could throw yourself at a building and leave nothing standing.

Chitinous: 61,000 Coin or 850 Shards – An Armour Pack that creeps you out and makes you want to stop playing. I love it, but I hate it so much more. I think it’s the grills where the eyes should be that disturb me the most.

Decal

Shatter Blast: 6,000 Coin or 200 Shards – A very nice-looking Decal that fits in well with the Cataclysm content, even though it isn’t.

Arrival

Cannonball: 12,000 Coin or 300 Shards – A pretty stunning Arrival that I have to say I’d use for everything in real life if it wouldn’t break my spine.

Emote

Kick Up: 16,000 Coin or 300 Shards – I have this Emote and it’s pretty fun. If there’s something else on the list that you want though, I’d got for that because it’s not so much fun that it’s better than Armour Packs.

Material

Painted

Glitter Noise: 5,000 Coin or 175 Shards – This Material is pretty cool, and your Javelin will look absolutely fabulous with it slathered all over it. I can safely say that as far as customisation options go, this is one of the best.

My Take

That’s everything in the Anthem Featured Store reset for the 23rd of August I’m afraid. If there’s nothing you like then you’ve got to wait until Tuesday before some new stuff comes along. Luckily that’ll be when the Cataclysm Store resets as well, so there should be plenty for you to purchase.

If you want to know what I’d buy, then look no further than the Chitinous Armour Pack. I know I said that it creeps me out, but it looks like so much fun, particularly when combined with some of the other Armour Packs our there.

Of course if you don’t main a Ranger then that Armour Pack is no good to you. So my backup this week is Glitter Noise, the best customisation Material out there. Well, it’s one of the best for sure, so don’t turn your nose up at it just because you’re too proud to have a glittery Javelin!

Let me know what you purchase this week in the comments. In case you missed it, Fernando Melo left Bioware recently, but Anthem will be fine.
