Howdy Freelancers! Another fan project similar to one I reported on recently, called Javelinbuilds.com, has gone live. This one is called javelin-stats.com and was created by a number of different […]
Howdy Freelancers! It’s no secret that Anthem has had a messy launch. There have been a number of pieces of news that have emerged since the launch of the game, which I haven’t actually reported on yet because I still believe there’s more to be said, that paint the picture of a hijacked game. There have even been things such as rumours of EA wanting to make the game Free-to-Play, and frankly it’s all getting out of control.
Howdy Freelancers! With the recent news that a Free-to-Play model might be on the cards for Anthem, among several other things going on at Bioware and EA right now, I thought we should look at the possible outcomes should the game move to this new model.
Howdy Freelancers! According to an unconfirmed report on the Anthem Subreddit EA is considering a Free-to-Play model for Anthem. The source indicates that EA is considering this due to the backlash the publisher has faced from fans over the state Anthem was in at release.
Howdy Freelancers! During their recent earnings call EA revealed that while Anthem hasn’t met their expectations, they’re far from done with it. In fact, EA is now doubling down their efforts on Anthem to make it as good as it possibly can be.
Howdy Freelancers! If you’ve been on the Anthem Subreddit lately you might have seen the reaction to the patch notes for Anthem’s latest update. Update 1.1.1 hit the game today at 10AM Central Time, 3PM GMT, and fixed just a few things. Let’s dive in and have an in-depth look at exactly what has been fixed.
Howdy Freelancers! Over the weekend the community Subreddit saw a pretty big post asking if we can all just declare Anthem as dead right now. The post was pretty heavily upvoted and has received a lot of comments after the same fashion, meaning general negativity. But can we call Anthem dead just because a forum post says it is?
Howdy Freelancers! Thanks to some very careless Tweeting it’s become apparent that development on Anthem has ceased forever! I’m joking of course, but this is exactly what a number of Freelancers, and games press sites, all seem to believe has happened with three of the key leads moving away from Anthem.
Last week Jesse Anderson, Global Community Manager on Anthem, posted a thread on Twitter in order to discuss some things that have been on his mind. This thread came the Thursday after the delayed Bioware livestream about the new Stronghold, Sunken Cell.
Howdy Freelancers! So the Sunken Cell is the brand new Stronghold in Anthem, and for this particular livestream Bioware decided they were going to talk about it a little. The livestream was pushed from the Thursday before due to technical issues, but now that it’s here I’m going to go through and pull out all the tidbits of information you may have missed the first time around.
